To introduce owners to the idea of selling their business to their employees we recommend engaging the Democracy at Work Institute to participate in their (online or in-person) Introductory Workshop for Selling Owners. Owners will also want to be introspective about their goals and assumptions for the transition. Attached is a list of questions owners to consider and discuss with your outside technical assistance provider. The answers to these will inform a conversation between owner and employees when both come to the table.
